.Our offices are located on the 3rd Floor of the Vanier Community Service Centre.  Our team is made up of four persons, (the Director, an Administrative Assistant, a Lawyer and a Community Legal Aid Worker).

OUR MANDATE IS:

To help people who experience social legal difficulties such as rights to housing, immigration and income maintenance.

Stimulate community development by education relating to various rights, legal reform and support of community groups.

OUR CLIENTELE:  

We offer free legal services in French to low-income Francophones residing in East Ottawa.

INFORMATION 

We can offer information sessions, mainly dealing with low-income earners rights.  These sessions or workshops can be adapted to the needs of the clientele or aid workers.  The workshops can deal either with more than one subject or more specifically concentrate on a given point. You can obtain brochures dealing with your various rights at our Law Information Centre.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We want you to feel completely at ease to speak and be served in French.  Our services are completely confidential and offered by a professional and dedicated staff.

(The office is closed from Noon till 1 p.m. every day and Wednesday from Noon till 4.30 p.m.)
