A happy parent makes a happy family!

The Family Outreach program offers:

• A respite week-end every six weeks, for up to two years
• Information on available community resources
• Support for participating and volunteer families
• Group activities and coffee-break meetings

Our objectives are to:

• Give parents a break
• Initiate children to new life opportunities
• Promote a healthy family atmosphere
• Break isolation
• Encourage community outreach

Participating family criteria are:

• To be a single parent
• To be a low-income earner
• To be an Ottawa resident
• To have children between birth and 10 years old

Criteria applying to volunteer families:

• To be an Ottawa resident
• To be 18 years old or more
• Love children
