The Vanier Community Service Centre’s settlement program is a free service established to assist Ottawa’s new comers with their integration.

NOTICE TO OUR CLIENTS

For all immigration related consultation, we would ask that you bring your immigration documents which indicated your current status in Canada (for exemple, a residency card or a document including you picture, your 8-digit client number etc.). Thank you for your understanding and we are looking forward to meeting you! 

SETTLEMENT PROGRAM

Our establisment services offer a variety of services which will help you integrate to Canada. A team of establishment workers will offer information and orientation services and will be able to refer you to the appropriate service as well as offering you solution-based counselling.  You will also be able to receive help to complete your forms (ex.: immigration, tax benefits, housing etc. ) and will help you access the various services available for you.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • Person being in Canada and asking for a Permanent Resident status and who received  an initial approval letter from the Minister
  • Refugees
  • Persons protected according to the article 95 of Immigration Law
  • Permanent residents
