Client's Rights and Responsibilities

Clients Have the

A fair and reasonable complaint process;

Access their file information;

Privacy and confidentiality;

Be treated with dignity and respect;

A safe and secure service environment;

Refuse or discontinue service or treatment;

Not be discriminated against on the grounds of ethnicity, language, culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, age, disability, economic status or any other ground listed in the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Clients are

Treating staff and others who use the Center with respect;

Providing accurate and complete information as required for providing comprehensive care;

Cancelling appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice;

Arriving on time for appointments;

Having respect for the safety of all staff, clients and visitors of Vanier CSC;

Respecting all property of the Centre; Refraining from using scented products;

Refraining from using any illicit drugs or alcohol; Participating in their own file’s progress.


If you wish to express your satisfaction with a service received or if you are dissatisfied with the services you have received or that you should have received, you can file a complaint.
